History of the Car -

"According to period documentation included with the cars file, this 1957 Bel Air, finished in Onyx Black with a matching black and grey cloth pattern interior, was purchased new by France Furlong, of San Francisco, California. This was Mrs. Furlongs first car (and license!), at 60 years old, according to her interim drivers license, which is included on file. She owned the car well into her 70s, as evidenced by a 1971 registration document.

Following her ownership, the car is believed to have remained in California until the early 2000s, and it was then purchased by Sam Pack in 2003. The car is believed to be in original and unrestored condition, save for a repaint of the trunk, new carpets, and the installation of new belts, hoses, and a dual exhaust. It would be difficult to find a more well-preserved example than this Bel Air, which still wears its original California black plates and shows less than 16,300 miles, all of which are believed to be original."
